In 2012, Penn State University will host the 22nd Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE). Sponsored by the American Chemical Society, this international event is the largest gathering of chemistry teachers in the world and will bring together an estimated 1500 science educators committed to inspiring tomorrow’s leaders in the sciences. At this four-day event, college and university faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, along with high school teachers will connect with colleagues through plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and a vendor exhibition with the latest chemical education materials and instrumentation for the classroom. Both new and veteran teachers will find materials, techniques and course content to energize their students and promote active learning.
